Hi there, I'm transitioning into video editing and wanted to know where to communicate on platforms. First, where do you communicate with a client? A long-term one. Sending Gmails for every communication doesn't seem right. Second, where do I get paid? I don't want to use Venmo or Cashapp because they seem rather unprofessional. Also, the most important, what platform do I use for vlogs. I'm not doing short-form content so using something as complex as DaVinci seems unnecessary. But, using CapCut seems wrong everything is Pro now, so what platform do you recommend? Also, where do I get transferred video footage and where do I send the final draft or like things I want to ask about (like if they prefer this or that) also is that unprofessional? I don't want to over communicate and seem like a newbie (which I am) but I don't want to under communicate and give the client something they don't like. I'm thinking of opening a revolut business account as I've started trading through a prop firm and they only do payouts in USDC through metamask. I've never dealt with crypto before and from searching through the internet it seems that there might be issues when converting it and then transfering it to a bank in EU, I am located in Sweden. I can't risk having my bank account closed as some people have mentioned that happening. So I was thinking of opening a business account at kraken or coinbase and transfer from metamask to them and convert it there and then send it to revoult business account. But I'm wondering if this would be allowed? Mind you, I don't trade crypto, just forex, currencies and indicies. I found this on their website so it made me think it might not be. Anyone has any idea if it works or not? "Why can't I send and receive crypto to my Business account? You can't receive cryptocurrencies from other accounts and you can't send cryptocurrencies from your Revolut Business account. Businesses are not allowed to transfer funds into your Business account that originated by dealing or trading in cryptocurrency, as it's against our Terms Conditions. What contractor software links estimate and invoice without re-entry?
I rely on word and spreadsheet to do almost all my work; when scope changes on a job, I have to create the new invoice from scratch. The estimate is contained in a document while the invoice is in another document, without anything trying the two together except me. When an additional task arises during the job, I modify the estimate, complete the job, and it's time to make the invoice by referencing two documents or re-keyboarding everything in the estimate. Are there any contractor management system that tie this all together?

Hello! I’ve read through a few threads already on this topic but it seems ever changing and everyone has varying opinions so it’s not making it easy to make a decision! I potentially want to convert my private account into a business account and give it a go as a business not just selling bits and bobs. My concern is losing money listing things as the fees seem wild compared to a private account. I am a collector at heart and sell my collectables on ebay to fund buying more or other collectibles when I want to pivot. If I was to sell as a business I would be selling lower end Pokemon cards, Funko Pops, Hotwheels and then display items and accessories. The Pokemon cards are all listed at £2.00 with free shipping, my total cost for shipping is £1.23 including packaging materials and then fees on top and as a private sell i make no real money but in volume it adds up. I’d like to take advantage of multi item discounts which you get access to as a business seller for these since shipping it’s majority of the cost, more cards in the order means more profit! It’s a similar story in both hotwheels and funkos. What sort of fees am I looking at as a business seller? Will i be completely screwed? is it worth taking the risk? I’ve had my private account since 2014 and I don’t want to ruin an account like that just to get screwed by fees. The reason I want to go business is because I have disabilities and can no longer work typical jobs. Packing and shipping these orders has been extremely fulfilling and I’d like to try grow it to support myself.
