Real people asking for web designers, web and app developers, and agencies on Reddit right now, updated every week.
Every day, business owners go on Reddit and ask for exactly what web agencies sell: "Who can rebuild my outdated site?", "Recommend a Shopify developer", "My website doesn't convert - need help". They post in subreddits like r/smallbusiness, r/Entrepreneur and r/webdev because they want honest recommendations instead of ads.
The leads below are real Reddit posts from the past days, found by Leadverse and filtered for buying intent - meaning the author clearly stated a need a web designer, web or app developer, or agency can solve. Idea for a website/app to help plan binder pages
I saw a post with an aesthetic binder page plan, and thought it would be nice to be able to plan these things easily with an idea of how it would look. Unless it exists already and I don’t know about it, a website with a list of every card in it with filters for colour, era, type, theme, etc, etc, would be really cool! Anyone know anything like this? Or is anyone willing to make it? 👀👀Suggestion needed
Actually i was thinking to help my family where everyone is involved to run a clinic so in this fast paced world where tech is needed i thought to build a App which help people and us as well in a smarter way so anyone here can suggest me a company or person who can help me in building an App[Hiring] An actual artist in the web design field. Ocean themed.
I am doing a business here locally. It entails four different things. 1. Marine Auto Towing I want a section of the website for Marine (boats) and Auto (cars) towing. I am the driver. Customers should be able to book gigs on the website. 2. Mobile and In Person Auto Marine Detailing. I want this section to be about the detailing section of my business. We can either go to them or they can come to us. 3. Home Commercial Moving Services I want this section to be where customers can book moving gigs. Have a 36ft trailer and employees who can help people move from house to house or business move from office to office. 4. Offshore Fishing Charters I want this section to be about fishing customers. Loyal customers will get entered into a raffle every time they book a job with our company. Every dollar spent with us counts as one entry. People can also book the fishing charters on the site aswell. Thanks to anyone who can help. Looking for a great website and have a decent budget in the thousands. Thanks. Must be an artist in the field. No vibe coders please. Only artists.Looking for web development in Durham
Bidding on a project and my regular is tied up. About the project. Mid sized B2B client has built a Claude Code prototype. It’s bare bones and looks like every other Claude website. I know his biz and am a writer and designer, looking for a server standup, security, page creation (7) etc. and integrating his tool sets over two options Option A WordPress Build Astra + Kadence or other lightweight tool set to rebuild a modified Claude Code prototype in WP. Hello! Not sure where to even start with an app, thought Reddit would be a good place. I am a customer jeweler. Right now, my company is 2.5 people. With me making the jewelry, it is hard to update customers. Basic vision: I want an app for my brand that a customer can login, see an image of their CAD, then once the order starts. I can click order in production, order almost done, order packing, order shipped. This would send an email or text to the client. Advance vision: It would be nice to have a place where a customer could message me and forth on the order page if they had questions. Not make or break to have this but it would be nice. More Advance Vision: It would be nice for a customer to login and in addition to their order page, there would be a tab that says in stock and they could shop in stock jewelry I have and buy it or say inquire and I could send them a PayPal / Zelle link. I’m not sure what is realistic or what something like this would cost. Thank you! 😊Looking for a Web Developer (Europe or LATAM Only)

Hi everyone, I started a bookkeeping/tax return company in Alberta, Canada and trying to get verified with Google. As a service area business, I don't have a store or company vehicle that has the company name on it. When I submit the video verification, it keeps telling me business name does not match what's printed on business asset. In the video I have shown the Certificate of Incorporate and the business profie with CRA and they all match to the name of the Google business profile. I have uploaded video 3 times, I'm not sure what else I can show them now, does anyone have/had the same issue? I contacted the customer support over 2 weeks ago and followed up 3 times since, all they can say is someone is working on it and will get back to me. Any help is appreciated! WillGMB Suspended/Not Approved
Hi! I own a pressure washing business. We’ve been operating for about a year now. I tried to get Google verified in 2025 but don’t think I had all of my info situated back then. Since then I’ve made sure to get all of my paperwork evidence sorted out. I finally appealed the suspension yesterday. And I got an email this morning saying it was not approved. And now I can’t even appeal it again. I submitted the following documentation: \- Picture of our trailer with signage on it \- Certificate of Existence \- EIN notice from IRS \- Business Licenses \- Bank Statements \- Insurance Account page \- COI I operate this business with my co owner. We are a service area business so we do not have a store front. Our address that we are registered in South Carolina for is based in South Carolina but our mailing address is based in North Carolina because that’s where I live and I do all of the office work. So I understand the confusion there. But all of the information is correct. I feel like if I could just talk to a real person we would get this sorted out. We also have an LLC and a dba. Our socials and our website run off of our dba name. Our LLC name is different only because of how we file our taxes and operate our bank accounts. We do not have multiple branches of our business. We only operate under our dba name. If anyone could help that would be great. Again, I’m to the point now where they won’t even let me appeal again. So I don’t know where to go from here. Is there any way to talk to support or a real person? Thanks[Hiring] Remote Full-Stack Developer React + Python/C $30–50/hr

As simple as possible without hiring a developer or using multiple ways. what we are looking for is an all in one platform where you can: register a domain, set up a professional email, build a simple, clean website, handle basic security/privacy for the domain, manage everything in one place without technical knowledge. Right now it feels like most setups require stitching together separate services domain registrar, hosting, website builder, email provider, which quickly gets confusing for someone just starting out. There's something more streamlined that lets you go from idea to live business website in one system, even if it's basic at first and can scale later. Hello, I work for a small family owned and operated construction company and was fooling around with seeing how visible we are online. Within the past 5 years we have slowly been getting with the times by utilizing more technology and automation for repetitive tasks. Doing some of those free ranking tests we score low and when i asked my girlfriend to do generic searches on her work computer we come further down the list than I would like to be. we had our website professionally made and was going to try this on my own before going back to them to help add schema for search engines and AI models. Can someone help me get started or point me in a direction to someone who is great at this? It seems like all the places that sell the service are ran with a lot of AI. I would prefer to deal with a real person in America that I can ask the stupid questions to and who actually knows what they are doing. from my limited research it sounds like this is something i could do relatively free or cost effective. FYI I do not have a strong background in coding but like to think I can figure most things out on my own or with googles help.Hiring Full stack WebDeveloper
Hi everyone, I am hiring a full stack web developer to build my idea into an MVP. Please share referrals/recommendations if you have worked with someone. How much time/money do you spend to keep your "software stack" together?
As an Shopify/FBA/FBM/Walmart/ebay seller operating my own warehouse, pushing inventory to FBA/3PL as well as managing cargo movements from factory to FBA/my warehouse/3PL there is a ton of decent/good software at our disposal compared to the OG days where things are done on excel. I'm paying almost $5000 a month for various platforms- from order management systems to warehouse management systems and platform/marketplace management systems and it is definitely much, much cheaper than hiring programmers, and the software has vastly increased productivity by having a more organized warehouse, easier data flow from one platform to another, automated order processing, reducing warehouse staff and coordination time, it basically pays for itself multiple times over. However, it does not come without issues. My difficulty now is, with a large stack of software platforms, it is getting more and more time consuming to manage this stack on a daily basis, monitor for bugs, deal with errors employees reach, and liase with these platforms/report errors. On top of that, because certain platforms deal with certain things, the data lives in many places, sometimes we have data consistency issues. The stack handles the sales of 250,000 units per year mostly well, but Its coming to be almost require a full time staff to manage the stack to run the operation, deal with errors and issues. I mean if the salary is 75,000 and the platform is 50,000 a year, i'm basically paying $0.50 per unit. So my question for the community is how are you handling this? What works for you? What are the pain points?Looking to hire a web developer

I’m looking for advice from anyone who has experience with Google Business Profiles for towing companies or other service-area businesses. I own a towing company that operates from my home. Customers can come to my address if they want to—they’ve come before to pay invoices, ask for quotes, and discuss services. The issue is that most customers simply choose not to visit because towing is an on-site service. When my business had a visible address, it ranked extremely well in Google Maps. After switching to a service-area business with the address hidden, my rankings dropped significantly. It feels like I’m now competing across a much larger area instead of being shown to people who are actually close to me. My home is in a residential area, which seems to be the main issue. I’m trying to figure out the best legitimate way to handle this. Has anyone else experienced this? If so: Were you able to keep a residential address visible? Did you switch to a small commercial office or shared office? What actually improved your local rankings? I’d appreciate hearing from people who have gone through this themselves, especially towing companies, locksmiths, plumbers, or other mobile service businesses.Home based business ranking

Hi everyone, I’m hoping someone here has experienced this because Google support has been incredibly frustrating. We’re trying to verify our metal fabrication business through Google Business Profile using the video verification option. We spent a lot of time making sure the video followed Google’s guidelines exactly. Our video showed: The surrounding streets and street signs. The business owner unlocking the shop with his keys. The interior workspace and all of the equipment. The shop number on the building. A business card with the same phone number and business information. The exterior of the business before and after entering. The business does not have a storefront sign because it’s a fabrication shop that operates by appointment and doesn’t have walk-in customers. On top of that, Google currently shows the wrong location for our business (it even shows our house instead of the shop), and we can’t correct the address until the profile is verified. It’s a catch-22. Our verification was rejected, and said we didn’t show everything that we did... When I contacted support, I just received generic template responses that didn’t answer any of my questions. At this point I’m looking for: Has anyone successfully verified a business without a storefront sign? Did anyone manage to get a real person to manually review their video? Is there another verification method Google offered after video verification failed? Any tips on getting support to provide an actual explanation instead of automated responses? We’ve put a lot of time into this, and it’s really frustrating because we genuinely followed every requirement we could find. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! My business doesn't show up easily on google search
Anyone who has a business have any tips for me? I started a business 2 months ago and it does not show up on google maps until you zoom way in, or sometimes not at all. I have excellent and all 5 star reviews so far (worked with a lot of people at my old job which followed me over, very grateful) and more than many other similar businesses in my profession. My business name includes part of the city- a word that people use a lot for businesses in the area- in the name. I'm located the most centrally in the city of these competing businesses. One search for a specific service I offer that is popular (only a handful of businesses nearby offer this service at all) doesn't turn up my business at all. Wondering what I need to do to boost results. My website is with wix so not sure if that's the problem? (it's supposed to check for SEO says things are good idk). Or is the problem on google? Hi everyone, I started my pest control company in Massachusetts in November 2025. I’m fully licensed and insured, and I work with my wife. I’m confident in my technical skills and provide quality service, but growing the business has been much harder than I expected. Right now, we’re generating well under $1,000 per month in revenue. I have invested in equipment, products, insurance, licensing, and a website, but I’m struggling to generate consistent leads. My website isn’t bringing in customers, and I don’t have a solid marketing system in place. For those of you who have built successful pest control companies: What helped you get your first consistent flow of customers? If you were starting over today, where would you spend your first marketing dollars? Did SEO, Google Ads, Google Business Profile, networking, or door-to-door work best for you? How long did it take before your business became profitable? I’m willing to work hard and learn. I just want to focus my time and money on the strategies that actually work. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!Comment savoir si un site web va vraiment m’apporter des clients ?
Je dois refaire le site de mon entreprise en Suisse romande, mais je ne m’y connais pas trop. Et comment vous avez choisi la bonne agence ?Online Marketing!?
I own a small trades business and have been lucky enough to get two medium sized contracts which has tied me over. It’s really allowed me to chuck myself in the deep end and get some great systems in place to keep my clients in the groove and moving forward. The issue I have is marketing, I have never really understood this side of things. It seems to me like the market is so saturated, and if i give my money to someone, they will just take it and run a mile. I don’t understand how it all works and it frustrates me. What am i looking for in order to allow my business to gain more work? What are the red flags? Who are reputable? What should I have in place to better my chances? What kind of questions should I even be asking? If anyone could give me some advice on this matter. I don’t want people trying to sell me their business in the comments. Just some real advice that can point me I’m the right direction. I will value the feedback! There is so much information on SEO that doesn't really say anything at all.
I'll start with my request: Ultimately, I need help building out SEO and tangential practices that drive organic inbound pipeline for our business. My head is swimming with all of the research I have done in an effort to understand how this magical thing works and where do I begin. We own a facilities maintenance company in the Atlanta metro. We provide several services to essentially be the only call you need to make. My wife and I have owned this business for several years and we used to be so proud of our organic growth but that has essentially hit a ceiling and now I am kicking myself for completely disregarding SEO until now. I know we need to improve our SEO and AEO to fill our inbound pipeline and I have been chatting with Claude and researching the web to figure out what my next steps need to be. Here's the thing, I do not have the time (nor desire) to build SEO landing pages for 10 trades across dozens of towns in the Atlanta Metro. I reached out to a "Person" on Fiverr to get a quote to have them build my landing page templates starting with 9 trades in 5 cities. They quoted $3000 to do this work but I have concerns with whether this is a fair price and if so why? Additional Information: My wife and I own the business. Any solution will have to pass the wife test. The "person" on Fiverr is based out of Jordan and I am in the US. Our webpage is on Wix.beginner needs help with SEO, AEO, and GEO
